San Diego, CA- August 11, 2016 – Objective Capital Partners, a leading middle market investment bank and mergers & acquisition (M&A) advisory firm focused on transactions for companies with enterprise values up to $500 million, is pleased to announce and welcome the addition of its fourth investment banking analyst fueling its ability to execute on high quality deals. The team members include Messrs. Tyler Kidd, Jack White, Nicholas Devine, and newest addition, Jay Hasegawa. Objective Capital’s analyst team members are responsible for leading the analytical work in support of transaction execution, as well as assisting the senior leadership in the development and delivery of investment banking products and services to clients and prospects.
Prior to joining Objective Capital Partners, Tyler Kidd worked at New Century Capital Partners, a leading technology and digital media focused investment bank in Los Angeles, CA. There, he worked directly with the senior management team to provide support on transactions, which included sell-side M&A transactions, capital raises and valuations. Mr. Kidd was also a private equity analyst intern at Skyview Capital, a privately held investment firm headquartered in Los Angeles with a worldwide portfolio of assets. Tyler is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s Hilton School of Business with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. While pursuing his degree, the U.S. Department of State awarded him the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship to study International Finance at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Previously, Jack White held financial planning, analysis and corporate development positions at startup life science companies, Tonbo Bioscience and Affymetrix eBioscience, both located in San Diego, CA. In these roles, Mr. White focused on managing commercial sales and financial accounting information, creating financial models for forecasting purposes as well as various corporate development roles in the assessment and execution of licensing and partnership opportunities. Mr. White graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of San Diego.
Prior to Objective Capital Partners, Nicholas Devine worked at Arbor Advisors, a leading technology investment banking firm based in Palo Alto, CA, and Spinnaker Capital, a family office in Boston, MA focused on alternative investments. In these roles, Mr. Devine assisted senior bankers in transaction execution and business development outreach. Mr. Devine is a graduate of Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Accounting with a minor in International Affairs.
Before starting at Objective Capital, Jay Hasegawa worked at Century Park Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm based in El Segundo, CA. At Century Park, Mr. Hasegawa assisted senior partners in business development outreach. Before that, Mr. Hasegawa served as an analyst intern at Crest Point LLC, a search fund based in Altadena, CA. Mr. Hasegawa is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and the Marshall School of Business with a minor in Business Finance.
